I am excited for the opportunity to work with the 12 to 13-year-old youth in our ward. What a remarkable group they are! I look forward to sharing with them my experiences and testimony as we grow in our understanding, love for, and devotion to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
A little about me... I was born in San Diego, California to a wonderful mother and father. My mother is a member of the Church and raised me in the gospel. My father, though not a member, is an amazing example to me of honesty, hard work, devotion, and patience. I served a full-time mission for the Church ironically in San Diego where I was born. Though called to speak English initially, my mission president asked that I learn Hmong in the field. I served a remarkable group of saints for a year-and-a-half of my mission. I returned home and picked up college where I left off. It is here where I met my wife, Lisa. We married in April 2007 and were sealed in the Houston Texas Temple in April 2008. We have two beautiful children who are the center of our life and our joy. Nathan and Caitlyn have helped us to focus our efforts and truly prioritize what is important in life.
I love the Savior. I am grateful for his Atonement. I cherish the Gospel that helps us find and enjoy true peace in life. I am grateful for modern-day prophets and revelation that help keep my family and I where we need to be. I know that when we put the Lord first in our lives all else will be taken care of as it should.
