I am very humbled and excited to serve in the Sunday School. I have always enjoyed associating with the youth of the Atascocita Ward and I look forward to building stronger relationships with the youth and their teachers. The youth spend much of their days in “enemy territory” and I hope that the new Sunday School curriculum will inspire the youth to remain faithful to the Lord. I grew up on a small farm near Lake Tahoe, Nevada with nearly every farm animal imaginable – cows, goats, ponies, chickens, ducks, turkeys, peacocks, homing pigeons, dogs, cats, and even a handful of pesky llamas. I served a mission in the former Czechoslovakia shortly after the Berlin wall came down and Russia and Eastern Europe were freed from communist rule. I currently work as a portfolio manager for an investment management firm where we invest in stocks and bonds on behalf of our clients. Laurie and I met and fell in love while in school at BYU. We were married in the Manti Temple and have been blessed with five wonderful children – McKenna (10), Dallen (8), Brielle (6), Brynlee (4), and Lincoln (1). My hobbies are playing basketball, reading, watching football, movies, investing in stocks and real estate, gardening, and raising chickens. Everything good and worthwhile in my life has come from the gospel of Jesus Christ. Heavenly Father knows and loves each one of us and He will bless us as we follow His commandments.
